Converted from GCF sleeper transport wagons for use as traffic fenders (shunters' runners) circa 1975. GCF7083 was used at Port Lincoln, and was equipped with an auto coupler at one end and a 'chopper' at the other end. Then circa 1995-1997 it was converted again, to a weighbridge test wagon. GCF7100 was used at Thevenard, and was condemned between 1984 and 1988.
